Heart Symbols — copy in one tap
420 kaomojiTry it with your own name
Type a name, copy any style — 24 frames, one tap eachPaste the result into a display name or bio. A TikTok or Instagram @username accepts only letters, numbers, dots and underscores — decorated characters are rejected there.
Where these are accepted
Tested per field — the honest version| App / field | Decoration | Limit | Last tested | What actually happens |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TikTok username (@handle) | Rejected / stripped | 2–24 characters | August 2026 | Letters, numbers, underscore and dot only, and it cannot start or end with a dot. Decorated characters are rejected outright. |
| TikTok display name | Accepted | No decoration limit found | August 2026 | Accepts symbols, kaomoji and decorated combos. This is the field every "TikTok font" guide actually means. |
| Instagram bio & name | Accepted | Both fields accept decoration | August 2026 | Bio and display name both take decorated characters. The @username does not. |
| Game display names (Roblox, Free Fire) | Rejected / stripped | Emoji stripped; text marks usually pass | Not tested in-game | Colour emoji are stripped from most in-game name fields, while plain marks — ⋆ ★ 𐙚 ୨୧ ✧ — usually survive. Each game runs its own private filter and changes it without notice, so use the rename preview before you confirm. |
| Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp | Accepted | Long combining stacks may be trimmed | August 2026 | Display names and messages accept the full range. Very long combining stacks may be trimmed in narrow layouts. |
Platform filters are undocumented and change without notice, so we re-test rather than copy forward — see how we curate and verify.
There are two kinds of heart, and mixing them up causes almost every problem people hit. ♡ and ♥ are text: playing-card suit characters that take the colour of the words around them and survive most name fields. ❤️ 🧡 💛 are emoji: fixed-colour pictures that many game and username fields strip out.
Below you can copy the whole set — the text hearts with their code points, every colour emoji with the meaning people usually read into it, the aesthetic hearts borrowed from other scripts, and ready-made bio chains. Code points and Unicode names are read straight from the Unicode character database.
How to use heart symbols
- Bio: a chain such as ────♡──── breaks the text into readable rows.
- Display name: ♡ and ♥ keep your text colour and usually pass a name filter.
- Captions: pick the colour for the tone — 💛 reads as friendly, ❤️ does not.
- Strict fields: drop the emoji and keep ♡ ♥ ❥ — that is the version that survives.
If the heart must stay red everywhere, use ❤️. If it must match your text, use ♡ or ♥.
♡ vs ❤️ — text heart or emoji heart?
This is the first thing to settle, because it decides where your heart survives and what colour it comes out.

- ♡ and ♥ are text. They are playing-card suit characters, so they take the colour of the text around them — black in a document, white on a dark profile. They also pass most username filters.
- ❤️ is an emoji. The red picture is ❤ plus the invisible U+FE0F. Every device draws it red; you cannot recolour it, and fields that strip pictures strip it.
The same character can arrive two different ways. ❤ followed by U+FE0E asks for the flat text form; followed by U+FE0F it asks for the red emoji. That invisible character is why a heart you copied looks red in one app and black in another — the same logic behind the green ✅ and the black ✔.
How to type ♡. There is no key for it. In Word or Outlook, type 2661 and press Alt+X. On Windows the numeric-keypad code is Alt+9825. On a Mac, open the Character Viewer with Ctrl+Cmd+Space and search for “heart”. On a phone there is no shortcut — copying one from the grid above is genuinely the whole method.
Every heart colour and what people mean by it
Unicode fixes the character and its colour, but it never says what a colour means. The readings below are the common social ones, not a standard — they shift by platform and by age group, so treat them as how most people will read you rather than a rule.
| Emoji | Code point | How it is usually read |
|---|---|---|
| U+2764 U+FE0F | Red — plain love, the default | |
| U+1F9E1 | Orange — warmth and friendship, a softer red | |
| U+1F49B | Yellow — friendship and cheerfulness | |
| U+1F49A | Green — nature, health, jealousy in some readings | |
| U+1F499 | Blue — loyalty, calm and platonic affection | |
| U+1F49C | Purple — admiration; widely used by K-pop fandoms | |
| U+1F5A4 | Black — grief, dry humour, or an aesthetic that avoids colour | |
| U+1F90D | White — purity and clean, minimal palettes | |
| U+1F90E | Brown — warmth, coffee, earthy palettes | |
| U+1FA77 | Pink — soft affection; the coquette palette | |
| U+1FA75 | Light blue — a gentler blue, added alongside pink and grey | |
| U+1FA76 | Grey — muted, neutral, low-key |
The black heart 🖤 is the one most often misread. It carries grief for some people and dry humour or a plain monochrome aesthetic for others, which is why it turns up as readily on a fashion account as on a memorial post. If the meaning has to be unambiguous, put it next to words.
Pink, light blue and grey 🩷 🩵 🩶 are much newer than the rest of the set, so older phones and older apps may show them as empty rectangles while the red and yellow ones render fine — that is a missing font, not a broken copy.
Text hearts, their code points and the upside-down ❥
These are the hearts that behave like letters. They keep your text colour, they survive most name fields, and they are the ones to reach for when an emoji would be stripped.
| Symbol | Code point | Unicode name | What it is |
|---|---|---|---|
| U+2661 | White heart suit | The hollow heart. A playing-card suit character, which is why it is text and not a picture. | |
| U+2665 | Black heart suit | The filled version of the same suit. Takes your text colour, so it is red only if your text is red. | |
| U+2764 | Heavy black heart | The one that becomes the red emoji when U+FE0F follows it. On its own it is still text. | |
| U+2765 | Rotated heavy black heart bullet | The upside-down heart people look for. It is a typographic bullet, not a flipped ❤. | |
| U+2766 | Floral heart | A printer’s ornament from the days of metal type. | |
| U+2767 | Rotated floral heart bullet | The mirrored ornament, used as a divider at the end of a section. | |
| U+2763 | Heavy heart exclamation mark ornament | A heart sitting on an exclamation point. |
The upside-down heart is ❥, U+2765. Its Unicode name is ROTATED HEAVY BLACK HEART BULLET — it was encoded as a typographic bullet for lists, not as a flipped ❤, and there is no character that is literally an inverted heart emoji. It is the closest thing there is, and it copies as plain text.
Heart bio chains and dividers
A bio chain is a divider built from repeated marks with a heart in the middle. It breaks a bio into readable rows without spending a line on words. Tap one to copy it whole.
Keep chains short. A divider that wraps onto a second line stops reading as a divider, and most bio fields count every character against the limit — including the invisible ones.
Aesthetic & coquette hearts — ᥫ᭡ 𓆩♡𓆪 ʚ♡ɞ
The aesthetic hearts are built the same way the rest of the decorative sets are: ordinary characters borrowed from other scripts because their shape fits. ㊱᭡ is a Tai Le letter beside a Balinese musical symbol; 𓆩♡𓆪 wraps a heart in two Egyptian hieroglyphs. Not one of them is a heart character.
These pair naturally with bows and sparkles — the full set is on coquette symbols, and the sparkle dividers that frame them are on stars and dividers.
