Where these are accepted

Tested per field — the honest version
App / field Decoration Limit Last tested What actually happens
TikTok username (@handle) Rejected / stripped 2–24 characters August 2026 Letters, numbers, underscore and dot only, and it cannot start or end with a dot. Decorated characters are rejected outright.
TikTok display name Accepted No decoration limit found August 2026 Accepts symbols, kaomoji and decorated combos. This is the field every "TikTok font" guide actually means.
Instagram bio & name Accepted Both fields accept decoration August 2026 Bio and display name both take decorated characters. The @username does not.
Game display names (Roblox, Free Fire) Rejected / stripped Emoji stripped; text marks usually pass Not tested in-game Colour emoji are stripped from most in-game name fields, while plain marks — ⋆ ★ 𐙚 ୨୧ ✧ — usually survive. Each game runs its own private filter and changes it without notice, so use the rename preview before you confirm.
Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp Accepted Long combining stacks may be trimmed August 2026 Display names and messages accept the full range. Very long combining stacks may be trimmed in narrow layouts.

Platform filters are undocumented and change without notice, so we re-test rather than copy forward — see how we curate and verify.

Coquette symbols are the bows, ribbons, tiny stars and pastel marks people wrap around a name or a bio. The combinations most people arrive looking for are ⭒๋𐙚, ⭒๋𓇼 and the little heart ౨ৎ — and almost none of them are the thing they look like.

Not one of these is a bow character, and only 🎀 is an emoji. 𐙚 is a Bronze-Age Minoan sign, ౨ৎ is a Telugu digit beside a Bengali letter, and is a maths operator. Each one is identified below with its real code point, because that is what decides whether it survives a name field and whether an old phone can draw it: a TikTok display name and an Instagram bio take the whole set, while game name fields such as Roblox and Free Fire strip the colour emoji and keep the text marks. Everything on this page is plain text, so it pastes into a bio, a display name or a caption with no app and no font install.

How to use coquette symbols

  • Bio: wrap the name, e.g. ⋆.˚𐙚˚࿔ name 𝜗𝜚˚⋆.
  • Display name: one mark on each side keeps it readable — and readable names get clicked.
  • Captions: a single ୨୧ or ⊹₊˚ between phrases softens the line without adding noise.
  • Strict fields: drop the 🎀 and keep the text marks — that is the version that survives.
Keep the two sides mirrored so a left-aligned name still reads as centred — ⭒๋𐙚 name 𐙚๋⭒ rather than ⭒๋𐙚 name ⭒๋𐙚.

What each coquette glyph actually is

Every other page for this query hands you a wall of glyphs and walks away. Here is what each one actually is — the code point, the script it was taken from, and why that matters. The origin is not trivia: it is what decides whether a mark survives a username filter, and whether an old phone can draw it at all.

𐙚U+1065ALinear A sign A306. A sign from an undeciphered Bronze-Age Minoan script. It is not a bow and not an emoji — it is a letter, which is exactly why it behaves like text in a name field.
౨ৎU+0C68, U+09CEThe famous coquette heart is not a heart character at all: it is a Telugu digit two next to a Bengali letter khanda ta. Two scripts borrowed for their shape.
𝜗𝜚U+1D717, U+1D71AMathematical italic theta and rho, from the maths alphabet block. The curled strokes read as the two ends of a ribbon.
U+2B52White small star. A plain text star, not the emoji ⭐.
U+0E4BThai tone mark mai chattawa. A combining mark with no width of its own — it stacks onto whatever comes before it, which is what gives ⭒๋ its little tail.
𓇼U+131FCEgyptian hieroglyph N014. N is Gardiner’s sky-and-earth group; this is the star sign.
𓇢𓆸U+131E2, U+131B8Egyptian hieroglyphs M033B and M009, used together as the leaf-and-flower pair.
୨୧U+0B68, U+0B67Oriya digits two and one. Mirrored, they make the open bracket pair people use as wings.
ʚɞU+029A, U+025ETwo Latin phonetic letters — closed open e and its reverse — that mirror into a bow.
U+0FD4Tibetan mark closing brda rnying yig mgo sgab ma. A punctuation mark, used here purely as a flourish.
U+22B9A maths operator, formally “Hermitian conjugate matrix”. Nothing to do with sparkles — it just looks like one.
ᥫ᭡U+196B, U+1B61Tai Le letter e plus a Balinese musical symbol. Another two-script accident that reads as a heart.
U+1AB2Combining infinity. A combining mark: alone it has nothing to attach to, so it often lands on the character before it or shows as a lone box.
🎀U+1F380RIBBON — the only true emoji in this list. It is a colour picture drawn by an emoji font, not a letter. That difference decides where it survives.

Code points and character names are read straight from the Unicode character database. If a glyph above shows as an empty rectangle on your screen, that is your device missing a font for it — see why a symbol shows as a box.

Coquette bow 𐙚 vs the 🎀 emoji — text or picture?

This is the one distinction worth learning, because it explains almost every “it worked in my bio but not in the game” problem.

  • 🎀 (U+1F380) is an emoji. A colour picture, drawn by a separate emoji font. Name fields that reject pictures reject this.
  • 𐙚 (U+1065A) is a letter. Monochrome, drawn by an ordinary text font, and it takes the colour of the text around it. Filters that only screen out emoji let it through.

So when a bow disappears from a display name, it is nearly always the emoji that was stripped and not the text glyph. If you need a bow that survives a strict field, build it from ⋆ ˚ 𐙚 ୨୧ ʚɞ rather than from 🎀. If you need it to be pink on every device, it has to be the emoji — text marks inherit the colour of the surrounding text.

Coquette name frames — ⋆.˚𐙚˚࿔ name 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

Six coquette name frames built from bow and sparkle symbols around the name luna
Six frames rendered as plain text — no emoji, so they survive fields that strip pictures.

The pattern people search for is a frame: a mark, the name, then the mirror of that mark. Tap any frame to copy it, then swap the word name for yours — or use the name box above, which does the swap for you across every frame at once.

More frames, and marks sorted by how well they survive name fields, are on symbols for names.

Best coquette combos for a TikTok or Instagram bio

These are the short combos that fit a bio line without pushing it onto a second row. A TikTok display name and an Instagram bio both accept decorated characters; a TikTok @handle does not, and never will — that field is letters, numbers, dot and underscore only.

Pair them with heart symbols for a warmer line, or with stars and sparkle dividers to break a bio into readable rows. For the softer, rounder end of the same mood, see kawaii kaomoji.

Symbol meanings

𐙚LINEAR A SIGN A306 (U+1065A) — the signature coquette bow, and not a bow character.
౨ৎTELUGU DIGIT TWO + BENGALI LETTER KHANDA TA (U+0C68, U+09CE) — the coquette heart.
𝜗𝜚MATHEMATICAL ITALIC THETA / RHO (U+1D717, U+1D71A) — read as ribbon ends.
🎀RIBBON (U+1F380) — the only real emoji in the set.

˚RING ABOVE (U+02DA) — a tiny ring used as a sparkle.
HERMITIAN CONJUGATE MATRIX (U+22B9) — a maths operator that looks like a sparkle.
Frequently asked questions
What is the coquette aesthetic?A soft, girly look built around bows, ribbons, lace and pastel pink. In text it means bow and ribbon marks framing a name.
What is the 𐙚 symbol?Linear A sign A306, U+1065A — a letter from an undeciphered Minoan script, borrowed because it reads as a tiny bow. It is text, not an emoji.
Do coquette symbols work in Free Fire or Roblox names? The text marks usually do; the emoji usually does not. Colour emoji such as 🎀 are stripped from most in-game name fields, while plain marks — ⋆ ˚ 𐙚 ୨୧ ʚɞ — normally survive. Those filters are private and change without notice, so paste the name into the rename preview and look at it before you confirm.
Why does 𐙚 show as a box on old Android?Because that device has no font covering U+1065A. Linear A was added in Unicode 7.0 in 2014 and is still missing from many bundled font sets, so the character arrives perfectly intact and the phone simply has nothing to draw it with. Anyone on a device that does cover it sees the bow.
Pink vs black coquette sets — what is the difference?Only the emoji carry their own colour. 🎀 and 💗 are pictures, so they stay pink everywhere. Text marks like ⋆ 𐙚 ୨୧ take the colour of the text around them, so the same frame reads pink on a pink profile and black on a white one.
How is it different from Y2K?Coquette is sweet and feminine (bows, pink); Y2K is metallic and sparkly (chrome stars). They share stars and dots, so they mix well.
