What may and may not appear in a collection on SoShareIT Emojis, how submissions are reviewed, and how to report something. This policy applies to every collection page and to every character submitted by a visitor.

The principle
This is a decoration library for a general audience — a lot of it is used by teenagers decorating a bio. So the bar is simple: a character or combination belongs here if someone would reasonably want to paste it into a public profile. Anything that exists to demean, sexualise or harass does not, however popular the search term is.
Not allowed
- Hate and slurs. Anything attacking or demeaning people by race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or illness — including combinations that spell a slur out of decorated characters.
- Sexual content. Sexually explicit combinations or ASCII-style sexual imagery. Slugs and collections built for that purpose are removed, not hidden.
- Anything sexualising a minor. Zero tolerance, removed on sight and reported where the law requires.
- Harassment and threats. Combinations naming or targeting a private individual, or depicting violence against one.
- Personal information. Real names of private people, addresses, phone numbers, emails, account passwords. A submitted character is public the moment it appears.
- Spam and promotion. Submissions used to advertise a service, push a link, or seed a brand name.
- Deception. Anything presented as an official badge, a real verification mark, a security warning or a system message.
Deliberately allowed
Over-filtering breaks a decoration library, so these stay:
- Combos that look broken to an editor. Stacked combining marks and unusual brackets often render perfectly on a phone. Odd appearance in a desktop tool is not grounds for removal.
- Characters from any script. Thai, Canadian syllabics, Tibetan, Javanese and others are used decoratively in aesthetic combos. They stay, with an explanation of what the character actually is.
- Flags. Flag characters are text and are listed because people search for them. Listing one is not a political statement.
- Dark, gothic, “cursed” and edgy aesthetics. A mood is not a policy breach. Skulls, chains and gothic frames are ordinary decoration.
- “Verified” styling. Allowed, and always labelled as decorative — see trademarks & non-affiliation.
How submissions are reviewed
Submitted characters are checked against this policy before they earn a place in a curated set, alongside the technical filtering described on how we curate and verify — duplicates and fully invisible entries are dropped. Review is human judgement, not a word list, because the same characters can be innocent decoration in one arrangement and a slur in another.
Enforcement
Where something breaches this policy we remove the item, and where a whole collection exists only to serve prohibited content we remove the page rather than quietly hiding it from search. We may also block submissions from a source that repeatedly breaches this policy.
Reporting something
To report a character or a page, email [email protected] with the page URL and the character itself pasted into the message, plus one line on what is wrong with it. Reports involving a minor, personal information, or content targeting a named individual are handled first. You do not need an account to report anything, and you can use the contact page instead if you prefer.
